LESSONS
Music is the most human art. We've been making music since the dawn of time and will continue to make it. Music is our connection to the very core of what makes us human and it can be used for more than just entertainment. Our connection to music changes as we grow and I want to encourage every stage of musical development. It is my responsibility as a teacher to provide a worthwhile musical education that will meet both teacher and student goals while encouraging a deeper understanding of the art and a foundation in musical literacy.
GETTING STARTED
Everyone starts somewhere and I provide lessons which cover technique, theory, literacy and performance.
Voice Lessons
The voice is a very personal instrument. It takes an understanding of ourselves in order to sing, both physically and emotionally. My voice studio is open to all and I strive to make lessons fun and engaging.
Piano Lessons
Piano is a wonderful introduction to the musical arts. Piano is the gateway to all types of music! My studio is open to those seeking a foundation in their piano or musical skills.
Performance Coaching
I have a heavy opera and musical theater background. I love the theater! I want to guide students through the process of creating an engaging performance and learn to draw on their connection to the music, lyrics and script.
